Don Buchholz started his insurance career at Michigan Mutual Insurance as an underwriting trainee.  He moved to Hartford Insurance Co. as an underwriter before moving to the agency side.  Prior to Bender Don worked for Island Risk Management as an account executive handling all lines of business.  Don moved to Bender in 1989 as an Account Executive.  It was realized that his skills were not being utilized to their fullest extent and he was promoted to Commercial Lines Sales Manager in charge of all direct client contact.  Don has been the Vice President of Client Services and Sales since 1992 and effective January 1, 2004 became a minority owner of Bender Insurance Agency.  His mission is to ensure that we provide quality service to each and every client.
