Douglas W. Jacobs is the Vice President of the Financial Services Division, encompassing Employee Group Benefit Plans, Pension & Retirement Plans, and Financial & Estate Planning for Individuals. He is responsible for all functions relating to these business areas ranging from initial marketing to daily administrative services.
Doug joined Bender Insurance in 1987 after a successful career at Prudential Insurance where he represented a broad array of products in the Retirement Planning, Group Benefits, and Financial Services markets. He brought his expertise developed in these fields to Bender and progressed to his current position.
Doug earned a B.A. degree in Economics from Rollins College, He is certified in Personal Insurance by the Life Underwriting Training Council (LUTC). Doug is also certified to market and sell New York State Partnership for Long Term Care Insurance. On 2/1/03 he earned his ChFC designation with the American College.
